Cloud based telephone systems
Cloud technology impacts us daily, from file storage to streaming box sets. We consume cloud without a second thought. It has transformed business operations in many aspects of business.

Microsoft has launched a new cloud service, we look into what this service looks like, what it can do, and why you might use it.
Microsoft Windows 365 securely stores users information in the cloud, rather than on a device, allowing individuals to access their desktop from anywhere, on any device via a web browser.
This subscription based service provides a new way to consume Microsoft Windows 10 (and Windows 11 when generally available towards the end of 2021).
Speaking at the service launch last month, Satya Nadella, chairman and CEO of Microsoft, said, “With Windows 365 we’re creating a new category - the Cloud PC. Just like applications were brought to the cloud with SaaS, we are now bringing the operating system to the cloud, providing organisations with greater flexibility and a secure way to empower their workforce to be more productive and connected, regardless of location”.
Designed specifically to fulfil the increasing demand for hybrid working, the Windows 365 cloud service allows employees to seamlessly access applications whether in the office, working remotely at home or on the road – anywhere with an internet connection.
Users can stream their personalised apps, data, and settings from the cloud on any device including Windows PC, iPad, Mac as well as mobile phone.
Provided on a per user, per month subscription, Windows 365 cloud service will be available in two editions – Business and Enterprise. Windows 365 Business is designed for organisations looking to deploy cloud PCs for up to 300 users. Windows 365 Enterprise is aimed at organisations with over 300 users, with this edition providing unlimited users.
The solutions are powered by Azure Virtual Desktop. As such an Azure subscription or domain controller is not required. The solution can be set up and deployed to users in a few simple steps.
